Still interested in Calvin Moye and wondering about the relationship between Calvin and Wyatt Moye. Their ages seem to be fairly close and Wyatt witnessed Calvin's Pitt County deed dated 11-8-1820 from deed book BB page 185. My main reason for writing today is to share something I stumbled upon that I thought was interesting. Especially for Roger , or anyone else, if you haven't seen this before. Historical Sketches of North Carolina 1584-1851 shows the following: page 168- Wyatt Moye served in the NC Senate from Greene County for the years 1829-1834. page 169- Wyatt Moye served in the NC Senate from Guilford County in 1835. page 147- Wyatt Moye served in the NC House of Commons along with William F. Dancy from Forsyth County in 1846( This was probably really Stokes County as Forsyth was formed from Stokes about 1849.) page 147- Wyatt Moye served in the NC Senate from Forsythe County in 1848. This may mean that there could be documents found in Guilford, Stokes, and Forsythe Counties that might be relevant to some of the Pitt County Moyes. Tracy
