Brenda: Many, many, many thanks on a great report about your August meeting....wish I could donate about $20,000 for the budget, computer, etc.---you folks have come a long, long way since you first got organized just a few short years ago!! I want to join the PCFR group and subscribe to your quarterly publication, so I will visit your website, get the forms, and send my money right away. I am also very much interested in attending the October PCFR reunion this year, and I hope I can get my plans firmed up/nailed down soon. Will download a form for that also and complete it ASAP. I was home for 2 family reunions in June (Todds and related families meeting in Duplin County at Warsaw and Suttons and related families meeting in Pitt County at Bell Arthur), and the two reunions made my vacation one of the most rewarding family visits I've experienced in many, many years. I was born in 1937 in Greenville on a street which is now a part of the ECU campus, moved to Warsaw in late 1945, attended ECU 1955-56, came to Texas in the air force, graduated at University of Texas at Austin and have lived here in Houston for most of the intervening years since 1956. While in Greenville this summer, a sister, a cousin and I visited the Evans Cemetery at the Colonial Mall, which you mention in your August report. The concrete block wall around it provides for lots of protection I'm sure, but wouldn't a nice wrought iron fence with a historical plaque for the family look a lot better? The two surnames of my mothers parents are Sutton and White. And we are related to the Evans of Pitt and Duplin Counties as well as the many Browns of Duplin County. Wish I lived in Greenville and could attend all your meetings and volunteer for a lot of work in your projects. Again, thanks millions for a great report. Hope to see you and many others at the October 11 and 12 reunion this year. With the greatest best wishes for a grand reunion this year for PCFR members and guests, I hope 2003 will also be PCFRs best year ever. Sincerely, J. O. (Jack) Todd , Houston, Harris County, Southeast Texas
jTodd51430, what were your lines again. I have a match you mentioned at the meeting, but there was no time to talk then.
