Amos Evans stops in Pitt in 1860. Could he have relocated to Beaufort? Do you need me to look at this census for you? Of course, would not answer your question about his boys. And he might have been in Pitt in 1870 and later and my source just didn't record it properly. He was son of Burton Haddock and her father was Arthur Avery. Another researcher turned up a Thomas Haddock b. 1849. Thomas and Sarah had daughter Louanna who m. Guilford Evans. Another daughter Augusta m. Marion Johnson Evans. Am I correct in thinking Marion J. Evans and Guilford Evans were sons of Amos G. Evans and Patience McGowan? I am thinking that Patience McGowan was the daughter of Guilford McGowan. ==== NC-PCFR Mailing List ==== Post to this mail list at: NC-PCFR-L@rootsweb.com Visit the PCFR website at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncpcfr Browse our rich collection of old family photographs, private documents, and public records. ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 Paula Anne Baker paulabaker69@hotmail.com Researching BAKER, MANNING, TYSON, STOCKS AND OTHERS in Pitt County NC and Greene County NC and COLE, NORMAN, WHITE, SUTTON AND OTHERS in SC, GA, and LA _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
