Nathaniel NOBLES was born 1739/40 and died in 1803. Who were his parents? Were they John and Lovey MOORE NOBLES as set forth in an article in the Chronicles of Pitt County by Lucy Pierce or were they John and Elizabeth WARD NOBLES as I believe? In a report from a professional genealogist I was advised that a careful study of Nathaniel's land holdings might show that he inherited part of John's property and that further evidence might be found in the records of New Bern District Superior Court.
