Linda, I purchased the census books from The Bladen Co Historical Society. I happen to see information on the society at the following web site. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncbladen/bladen.htm They have quite a few publications that can be purchased. If you need more information you are welcome to borrow the census books. We don't live that far from each other. I received your note yesterday. It wasn't necessary for you to send me any money. Any lookups you can do for me is payment enough. I'll put the money in a research kitty to pay for postage and paper for yours or other researchers inquiries in the future. Stay in touch. Oh by the way yes I have two children 17 & 12 , a mother, a grandmother and a mother-in-law. My grandmother in-law passed this past Nov. If you are a mother, Happy Mothers Day to you also. The 1870 NC Cen Index that I have by Heritage Quest has a lot of people left out that I have found in other records so I did not want to get any more from them. I plan to study the records you sent next week and look forward to it. It is going to help me with dates especially. I like to see evidence on my own so I can put the source in with my information. Don't know if you have children or you still have your Mother, but I do wish you a happy day Sunday.
