Jo; I am beginning to get interested in a Wilson/Roberson or Robinson connection. Where your Robersons also from around Bertie Co? The Robersons from whom I'm descended were in Tyrrell and Martin primarily. I think they may have owned some land at some time in Bertie, but that really wasn't their home county. Do you have any Roberson/Wilson names that I might check? In my direct line, I am not aware of any Wilsons, but many of the wives maiden names are unknown, so there may be a Wilson in there somewhere. Jo
Jo; I have two that are especially important to me. The first two. It looks like our James Wilson may possibly be connected to both the Davisons and the Robersons. Martin Co Will Book 1 1774-1810, p.349 From Northampton County Cousins Special Bulletin #14 Wm Mckenzie appears on a will of Oct 23, 1784 with Rev Wilson also. I wonder if Milla Wilson is either a dau, a grandau of Rev James L. Wilson or more likely, his wife. Do you see any other surnames that look familiar?
