    3. Thanks, Jo...I had figured it out to my disappointment. At first, I though I had a twofer! The Dukes are all over Wilson records in Northampton and the Robinsons to a lesser degree. I believe and can almost prove that our James Wilson is in Bertie, while his father had moved from there to Northampton where he had long owned land. The only prayer I have with this common name is following the land and did just find a missing piece that was in the hands of a William Wilson of Bertie when it was sold the description said patented by William Wilson and no other patent fits except the one to our William in the 1720s on Cashie Swamp. So if you ever see any Wilsons around your Robersons, please give me a buzz.
