Hello Rena, You take Hwy 11 from Kinston right on up into Greenville, into the old "uptown" area. Hwy 11 becomes Memorial Drive. You will cross Greenville Blvd. and Arlington Blvd. You will then come to a stoplight where Dickinson Ave. veers to the right just before you reach the stoplight. Go on Dickinson (don't go through the light) and continue on towards uptown. When you come to the stoplight at the intersection of Dickinson Ave. and Reade Circle, go through the light and immediately turn right into a large parking lot for Sheppard Memorial Library. Hope that makes sense. I would be happy for you to come to my house(right off Hwy 11 at Winterville...on your way) and I'll take you to Sheppard. It would be great to see you again!! Mr. Langley, if you could give us the name of the book or the author, it would be a big help. I'm not familiar with a book at Sheppard that deals with the Stokes/Stocks relationship.
