This is the one. I have only been able to get bits and pieces of the story. I had been told that it was called the Lewellen Conspiracy, and that Daniel and a couple of his kin had been threatened, and that Daniel had taken Mrs. Lewellen (Lewelling) to who ever finally pardoned John. Any additional information, or advise as to how to go about retreiving more information would be appreciated. Thank you very much Macon Jones Knoxville, Tennessee > I did a little work for a family out of Tenn. that was searching for Danial > Buntin.
