Pitt County Family Researchers will meet tomorrow night, April 16, at 7:00pm in the Conference Room at Sheppard Memorial Library. The Board meeting will be at 6:00pm in the same room. Mark your calendar for Sat. April 20 for the "Picturing Pitt County" event at Sheppard Memorial Library from 10:00am til 1:00pm. Bring your old pictures of ancestors , homes, churches, and any other subjects from early Pitt County. They will be scanned by PCFR members while you wait and added to the photo collection being built at Sheppard Memorial Library. For those of you who would like to send pictures to add to this collection, I will post instructions for doing this after the meeting tomorrow night.These instructions will be from Eleanor Allen and Betsy Ross, who will be working with the photos you send and putting them on CD. Pull out those picture albums and boxes of old pictures and help us build a really great photo archive at Sheppard Memorial Library.
