    3. Thanks, Martha. I printed your response so I can study it. The Hannah listed may be Fannie, the age is right. Perhaps her name was Hannah Frances ____________. Isn't Roger Kammerer working on a Moye book? If he is, please pass this to him. Maybe we can straighten out this Moye/Tyson jumble. Roger, please read messages below. ----Original Message Follows---- From: Martha Marble <mmarble@erols.com> Reply-To: NC-PCFR-L@rootsweb.com To: NC-PCFR-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [NC-PCFR] [NCGREENE] Penny Tyson 1850 Greene Co/Moye Date: Sun, 21 Apr 2002 09:08:49 -0400 >From: "Paula Baker" <paulabaker69@hotmail.com> >Old-To: NCGREENE-L@rootsweb.com, NC-PCFR-L@rootsweb.com Paula, One of the first lines I worked on was the Moye line because went into the DAR on Joel Moye. Did a lot of research on the line prior to George mostly because part of the Joel line was done by members of my family a number of years go. Working on the Moye family was how I first met Roger almost 20 years ago. We had done the same research but he had done much more and he was a far better and more experienced researcher. I backed off that family because he was going to publish a book which is almost ready. He also knows far more about the Tyson family than I do. I don't have a Thomas Moye but there are many of the Moye line I don't know anything about. Elbert Darden Moye was a son of Joel Moye and his wife Sarah Darden. Unfortunately the May, Lang, Joyner Booklet does not follow his line. Moses is not a Moye name but a Tyson name and the same is true for Orpah. Elbert's brother married Orpah Tyson daughter of Moses Tyson. The May/Tyson book does not give a son Thomas for this particular Moses but it is possible he had a son Thomas. I don't know who Penelope Tyson was or the Moye children in her household. Martha > >Need Martha's help with this one, or anybody's help. Mainly HELP!
