    3. Janice, I have received my February Quarterly that you sent lst class and just yesterday I received the first one you sent. I am going to make a trip to Greenville the latter part of this month and will be happy to bring one of them back for someone else if I may find some one that didn't get theirs. I just enjoy getting the quarterly so much and this month I have found another Moore researcher and he has sent me a whole lot of information on a member of my family I didn't even know about. He and I are having such a wonderful time e-mailing back and forth with info. and have mailed each other all we have on the family and have determined that we are true 4 cousins. We give you people credit for helping us be able to do such wonderful research. All of you are so gracoius in giving of your time in helping those of us that are unable to do work in the area. I feel like I know all of you personally just by reading your responses to those who have e-mailed for help, and there ! seems to be someone that can respond as a general rule. There just can't be a group more dedicated and I am so pleased to be a part of the group. I also want to give a special thanks to the hard working people who put the quarterly together and get it ready for us to read, and I am so displeased with the postal service for doing such a lousy job of getting it to us. My postman her in Waco told me that if it isn't first class many times they just let it sit in the post office until they are ready to deliver. My regret is that all these circulars and advertisements get presidece over our quarterly, I certainly get my share of them and it specificly says deliver by a certain date. Maybe you people need to write on the quarterly "DELIVER BY date". Thank you for making the effort you went to in getting my quarterly, I was trying to be patient but had finally decided they were not going to deliver it. 3. Hi Elizabeth: I am wondering if your Moore lines includes Woody Moore, Jr. who married Priscilla ??. Woody was born abt. 1780 in Pitt County, NC. They had a daughter by the name of Elizabeth who married Alfred Byrd. I don't have Elizabeth's birthday but she died before 1850. 3. Charles, I have looked through the three books that I have on the Moore's and did not see a Woody Moore, however it doesn't mean we might not be able to connect at some time. My Moore's in the l700's lived in the Crossroad enumeration district in Pitt county ,however in later years we have found them in Wilson and Edgecombe Counties also. My William Moore and Easter Norvill Moore went to Haywood County Tenn. about l838. I am wondering if the Woody is a nickname rather than his real name? I do have a book I have copied of "THE CANNON CREEK MOORE'S OF NEWBERRY, S.C. l767- l961, it does not have an index tho. A lady here in Texas gave it to me so see if I could find any of my Moore's in it, I believe I will make another copy of that book and take it to Greenville and give it to someone in the group and let them put in the library there. After all if it is not being circulated it can not help anyone, that has just occurred to me. I had forgotten that I had it so will have it copied so that others will be able to view it and see if they have family connections. By the way I have found Deeds for Woody Moore in the Volume III and IV of a set of books I purchased recently, they are "INDEX AND ABSTRACTS OF DEEDS OF RECORD OF PITT COUNTY", N.C., BY JUDITH DuPREE ELLISON. Do you have those and if not I will try to copy them and send them to you?
