Trish, Do you have any Bakers in your line? I'm asking because some time back a Julia Worthington emailed me about a Rachel that appears with the James Baker family in Greene Co in 1870. Her name could be Rachel Baker or Rachel Grizzard or Rachel Hobbs. Not sure. Julia was asking about her as though her name was Rachel Baker. We also have a Jane Baker that we cannot place. We think she was the daughter of Elijah Baker and Muriah Hobbs of Greene Co. Paula, I've no Baker ancestors as far as I'm aware. I am interested in the families who lived in the same Greene and Pitt County vicinity.
