    1. [NC-PCFR] Tysons/Bakers
    2. Paula Baker
    3. This is the family of Tysons that I believe is my line. I don't know which of the three below my Thomas Tyson came from. I retrieved this info from a site on the internet by pfwilson. In the database there is also a John B. Baker who married a Licetta Tyson, daughter of Allen Tyson and Mary Jane Brooks. I'm interested in that line too as a possible lead. Moses TYSON , Jr. 1755 - 1823 BIRTH: 1755, Pitt Co, NC DEATH: 1823 Father: Moses TYSON , Sr. Family 1 : Elizabeth JOYNER +Sherrod TYSON Seth TYSON Moses TYSON III ----Original Message Follows---- From: Martha Marble <mmarble@erols.com> Reply-To: NC-PCFR-L@rootsweb.com To: NC-PCFR-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [NC-PCFR] Penelope Tyson Date: Sun, 21 Apr 2002 21:37:41 -0400 Because they are two entirely different families. The name Moye is found very early in England and I assume May is also. I suspect that Mayo and May might be confused but not May and Moye. We can document the first Moye in the US in the mid 1600's and who he married in London before moving to Va. Both were killed by the Indians.
