    3. Dear Tracy, I am sorry for the delay in answering your letter. I have been away for the past week. The marriage of Alice Stancil and Samuel Potter could have been in Pitt Co. He was the fourth child of nine children born to Dempsey Potter b. 1813 & d. after 1880 and Sarah Phillips b. 1814 & d. bef. 1880. Samuel was b. 1842 in Greene Co. I think that this is a possible connection. What do you think?
