Here's a great message from Tracy. Hello Everyone, Just want to announce that a date has been set for the first meeting of our Genealogical Society. We will meet the second Thursday night in Sept. Sept 12,2002 7:00 PM at Heritage Place Library (LCC Campus) in Kinston. At this point we are calling the Society the "Heritage Genealogical Society" and the name will be discussed at the first meeting. We will also be discussing by-laws (I will have a set of By-laws that can be discussed, revised, etc) Officers, mission statement, annual dues, etc) So all you local folks, check your schedules, and make plans to attend!!
