Jeanne in Florida Jeanne, The Gospel Messenger was published from Williamston, but there were articles and obituaries from many different areas of NC and other states...particularly Ga.and Ala. I will be posting abstracted obituaries from the minutes of the annual meetings of the Kehukee Primitive Baptist Association...also the names of a number of early Primitive Baptist Churches in this association and some of the ministers. This appears to be a NC group. I have not researched the Primitive Baptist Church and it's structure. I just ran across this material and thought it might be useful to someone in their research.
