    2. Robin Nichols
    3. Does anyone have access to search the 1900 and 1910 census for North Carolina. I need a lookup for Charles Avery born abt 1836. I lost him after 1880. He was then in Sampson Co in the Honeycutts township. His wife was listed as Amy. I am also looking for William Avery born 1860 in the 1910 census possibly Sampson Co. NC. I would appreciate any information on these people. 3. No, not that I know of. He had a heart attack and passed. He has a daughter that lives in Greenville, and she has several children. Uncle Dee was a "teller of stories." Not that he'd make up lies, he just told stories for us about his childhood, things like that. His wife, Lala Stocks, still lives in Greenville. That's where they were married. But he was born and raised in Moseley Hall, Lenoir County. There were 12 children by Grandpa John Allen and Eliza Slaughter Stocks. 3. Mr. Langley, my people were found in Moseley Hall, Lenoir Co., North Carolina. Grandpa John Stocks married Eliza Slaughter, his brother Great Uncle Jesse Stocks married first a Lady named Zilphy and second Ruby Barber. Ruby was from Johnston Co., North Carolina. Great Uncle Jesse's people settled up around Turkey. Their mother was Elizabeth "Bet, or Bettie" Haddock Stocks. She collected a pension from Cannon Stocks, although there was no record of this marriage. I think I've found her in the census carrying other last names before we find her with Cannon Stocks as a boarder. Even her death certificate has the wrong date. Also, my Aunt Annie Stocks married Nathaniel Lucas, on one of her certificates it has her maiden name as Stotts. I have an Uncle John D. Stocks that is buried in the Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville. He was born 18 Dec. in Moseley Hall and died 20 April 1985 in Greenville. He was married to Lala Dawson and she is still living there in Greenville. My Grandpa John Stocks was born 1873 in Pitt County, and died 14 Dec. 1934 in LaGrange, North Carolina. I don't see a tie to the names you've shared. Of course, I'd be grateful if you could shed some light since my people never seemed to have kin, except for brothers and sisters. Thank you again, Rena

    1. Re: [NC-PCFR] Ross/Moore
    2. Does anyone have any info on a Deoffie Mack Zebulon Ross who married a Belinda Ann Moore? I believe their farm was in Grimeland, near the farm of Isaac Joyner. I am asking on behalf of a new friend, who is their grandaughter, any info on Ancestors or family members would be helpful. I would assume that they were born in the mid to late 1800s.
