The book is a collection of articles he has written for the Greenville Times. I have not seen it but expect it contains interesting stories of local interest. Also pictures are in the book. Barnes and Noble here in Greenville.
Is it possible to order this book? I am sure it will be of interest to many former natives of Pitt Co. and Greenville. The articles are available from Joyner Library, but would be so much nicer in one book. Is this the Barnes & Noble in Greenville?
I am sorry to say that I am not 100% positive, because he has two books coming out. It is either a collected work of short stories or some of the articles that he has written for the Greenville Times about the history of Pitt County. I was just trying to do something nice for Roger, because he has done so much for me since I began doing genealogy. I hope this helps and I am sorry I can not be more specific. I am sure he would not mind if you emailed him and asked exactley. If you do have a PayPal account, or use Google or Yahoo alot, put their link in your "favorite" web sites and go to those links only through your favorites. Why, because there are often a number of sites set up to capitalize on the oft chance that you will mis-spell their name sometime in the future - and then you get sent to a site that may look just like PayPal but is really is PauPal - to capitalize on your misspelling. I have a PayPal acct. that I rarely us - but I get PayPal messages all the time asking me for security reasons to click on the included link and then confirm my PayPal acct. information - like address, checking account number, credit card number and the like. The author of these email is NOT PayPal (even though the message looks identical to one that might come from pay pal). The author is phishing (fishing) by putting out thousands of these emails in the hope some uninitiated person will do just what they ask - and there are many that do - and give up their fiscal identity to a scumbag. that's a scam, if you don't have a paypal account, ignore it, delete it. PayPal is a very legitimate way of paying online, it is owned by EBay. But if you are not an account holder, this is SPAM trying to get info from you. >>> [email protected] 06/27/06 7:04 PM >>> Can anyone tell me what PayPal is about?
