I am a descendant of BARTON DYSON of Iredell Co.. He was born in MD and went to NC about 1780 or so.. I would like to hear from descendants of his line, as well as those of the SWANN family. William Dyson. We know she was a "Sary" or "Sallie".. but no surname can be found. Also would like to hear from descendants of his daughter Lezy Dyson Smith. She was married to a Henry Smith and I believe they stayed in Iredell Co.. The daughter, Martha Dyson m. John B. Roby.. they also stayed in Iredell Co. Daughter Amelia m. a Lovelace and both she & her husband were deceased by 1830.. Need documented proof that she was his daughter.. Two other daughters married a Gatton & a Gaither... They went to TN.. Another daughter m. a Mays and went west too.. Kansas I believe.. I hear from descendants of all children, except Lezy who m. Henry Smith.. Any help appreciated.
