I would like to know if anyone is researching the Shepherd and Wingfield families from Iredell Co? I am seeking info. on Richard Shepherd who married Elizabeth Wingfield--probably ca. 1803. First child, Thomas Jefferson Shepherd was born 1804. He had a sister Caroline, and after Richard died (by 1807), the children were living in the home of Thomas Wingfield.
