In my search for my Shepherd family, I have just learned that a John Shephard, age 45, wife Jane, and children, Nancy, Rosanna, Jane, and Martha A., were living in Payson, Adams Co, IL. in 1850. Johns place of birth is NC as is Jane's. Does anyone know who John Shephard's family was? Thanks, Marlene
