I am searching for descendants with the aforementioned surnames. I descend from Barton Dyson & h/w Anna ? We think she might have been a Campbell, but don't know for sure. The surname of SWANN was Barton's paternal grandmother's maiden name. The family came from Maryland... Barton's son William Dyson m. a Sarah ??? probably about 1795-6 or so.. I have been unable to find marriage records on this couple. Does anyone know what marriage records are in Iredell Co during this time period, or where to look? William and Sarah had at least two sons, Thomas and Wilson. Per 1800 census, they had one daughter. <Name unknown> William and "Sary" & "Sallie" <depending on the record> were found in the Society Baptist Church register of 1823. <Any clues in finding records for that church appreciated.> William, Thomas & Wilson are later found in Gasconade Co MO.. my childhood home territory...
