Hello, I understand that the Iredell court house burned in 1854 -- so I wonder, does anyone know if any marriage records from earlier than 1854 survived? Are there any published books of marriage records? How about books published on cemetery records? I am hoping to locate the following marriage date and cemetery records. Would anyone have *easy* access to published sources that could be *easily* checked for me? I don't want anyone to make a special trip somewhere -- but thought I'd pose the question. Need Iredell marriage date of Cyrus HUTCHI(N)SON to Elizabeth TORRENTINE sometime before 1812 (possibly 1808 - 1812). Need Iredell cemetery information on: Robert and Mary TORRENTINE (Robert died before 1818, possibly as early as 1793 and Mary died after 1818) Elizabeth (Torrentine) HUTCHI(N)SON died 1840 or 1848.
