Hi. I sent a message yesterday asking about Henry Sutton and son Gaston Sutton. I just remembered they may have had some relation to, or association with the William Peacock family. I have no actual proof this is just family legend. And a confused one at that!. I would still appreciate any help in tracing my g-grandfather Gaston Suttons family history. Thank you, Gerri Ann Stanley Lockman gal@naxs.net
Greetings, This is really vague and I don't know if anyone will be able to help figure this out or not, but since it's close to halloween it seems like a good time to try and see if anyone knows who this story might refer to. Henry and Elizabeth Josephine Hatchett Sutton were in Davie Co ,Mocksville by 1870. I am trying to locate a home for them earlier than 1870. Their son Gaston Sutton b. 1857 is believed to have lived in Iredell Co in the late 1800's - early 1900's. He died 1933 in Davie Co. His daughter Bessie Sutton married Julius Arron (Cap) Stanley , 1904 in Davie. They are my Grandparents. Does anyone have any recollection of the Suttons in Iredell maybe around Statesville. I cannot find a wife for Gaston but he was supposed to have had 3 children, 2 girls and i boy. Thank you, Gerri Ann Stanley- Lockman gal@naxs.net

Hello fellow researchers! I'm in search of folk looking for the surnames Matheson, McKenzie and Gordon in Iredell, Alexander on Burke Counties. These folk came from Scotland around 1772 and settled near what is today Taylorsville, NC. Several of my relations actually lived in Iredell. Hi! I am looking for anyone that might have info regarding a Betty Mae Eades (Money) who was born 8/30/1931 and died 1/18/1950. Her father was Vernon Eades and Dina Goodman. She had six brothers, R.V., Leroy, Bobby, Stevie, J.D., and Billy Ray. She also had three sisters, Mary Anne, Patty Sue, and Jessie Eades (Lambert). This family was from Statesville. Betty Mae married Garland L. Money, January 27, 1947 in York Co., SC, but I know that they lived in Statesville, NC until Betty's death. Please let me know if anyone knows of this family, or if any of the brother's and/or sisters are still alive. Thanks Jan House
