We have surveyed 10-15 more, and have plans to survey another 10-15. The remaining cemeteries have been lost, are overgrown, or have been destroyed over time. These numbers do not include burial grounds of the Cherokee or old slave cemeteries, although we would also be interested in locating those for surveying (where possible) and preservation.
