Hi, My name is Denise Clarke and I have ancestors from Cleveland County. Mostly the Parker family from the Casar area. It had been brought to my attention several years ago that there was a Parker Cemetery off of Buck Chapman Road. I finally made it down there from Wisconsin one year and found that the people in the cemetery were all related to me. I also found that the cemetery was very overgrown with some markers broken. So, every year after that on my 2 trips a year to visit my parents in Valdese I always went to the cemetery to TRY to clean it up. So, this year I went and made my journey to the cemetery to find that someone had cut back much of the brush and trees. They had also placed a PARKER cemetery marker there. I need help in finding out who did this! I would like to thank them and give them some money for their work and any work that they plan on doing.
