Is there anyone out there that could look up information regarding the death of Peter Powell, Jr. He was the son of Peter Powell, Sr. and Martha Patcey (Carroll) Powell. He was born at Caswell County, NC about 1807 and died there about 1838. He was married to Frances Phillips/Philips at Caswell County, NC on Sept. 19, 1832. So far I've only been able to document one son by the name of John Allen Powell. John Powell was taken in by his grandfather Peter Powell, Sr. after the death of Peter Powell, Jr. I do not know what happened to his mother. I'm wondering if she died before her husband since I've not been able to locate any siblings of John A. Powell. Any help would be greatly appreciated regarding these folks.
