There are several lines of Siscos (and related spellings). The one originating in Delmarva begins with John Francisco, who lived in Northampton Co. as a free Negro by 1650 or so. See Douglas Deals' book. Also see Paul Heinegg's website for more on this line. There are other lines originating farther north, in NJ and NY, but I don't know anything about them.
