i have been a subscriber to this list for a few months now,content to sit back and be an observer. my reason for posting is to encourage everyone who is still trying to make their connections and tear down their brick walls to please keep on trying. my cousin and i have been researching for quite a while now,and found out today that we have been accepted into the monacan nation. we are so happy and honored. i feel so much closeness to my ancestors and the lives they led that have helped make me who i am. so keep looking and don't give up. the destination is well worth the journey. also,i filled out my census tonight and proudly marked american indian/monacan nation. thank you for letting me share. paula
