This might be helpful to someone: On the Delaware web site there is a letter from Ned Heite about Native Americans in the area. http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/8074/state_de.htm There's more on the Heite Consulting (Cultural Resource Management/Archaeology) web site about finding "invisible" Indians. He gives ideas on census records, etc. Basically, while doing an archaeology project, they found that the descendants of the earlier Native Americans were still living in the area.
