We are looking for relatives from the Summerscales family. This is a marriage between John C. Kennedy and Elizabeth Crouston Kennedy and occurred during the "Trail of Tears" in the West Virginia area. We know they married sometime after the Civil War but not sure of the year. We are also interested in the story behind the "Trail of Tears". Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
