I need some help identifying my Native American ancestors. The oldest one I have is David McCoy, b. abt. 1800 in VA. m. Ann Donaldson. David left VA. for OH. and IL. abt. 1830. Can someone tell me if there may have been McCoy Native American's in VA. in the late 1700's and early 1800's? Any help would be great. Is there a book or other documentation? Thanks so much, Judy
