I was just informed this evening by a mail list I belong to that I had contracted a Happy.99 Virus which apparently came attached to a GEDCOM file. They sent me a cleaning device address, which I downloaded to a disk in much less time than is stated on the program. It runs itself and lets you know who you have "infected". The mail list told me I should also empty my recycle bin. They were very helpful, and said no one seems to know they're sending it, because it is a "worm" which attaches itself to files. It does not affect your hard drive, but invades e-mail and internet privacy.
