Hello List, I am looking for a lost ancestor and his family. John Conner was born in North Carolina on Feb. 1st, 1802. I have been unable to find anything on his parents or his wife. His wife is listed as "unknown Indian". John and his wife had three children, Alcy, Penny, and John. They were all listed on the Jones Co. North Carolina census in 1850. The majority of my ancestors are Tuscarora, Pamlico, and Bear River People. However, the name Alcy was found with the Cherokee and Creek. If John's wife had been Tuscarora, we would have had some family record. So, I'm stuck. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be very much appreciated. Regards, Two Waters
