Hi- I'm new to the list and am looking for any information on William (Billy) Nash who would have been born in the early 1800's (possibly in Russell Co). He fathered two children with Celia COMBS of Russell Co., VA, Cyndesta COMBS Crabtree b. 1827 and William Cecil COMBS b. 1829 in Russell Co. Celia later married and had several children with Isaac HART. Family tradition has it that the NASH family operated a ferry on the Clinch River. Also, again from family lore, that neither the NASH nor the COMBS family thought the other good enough for their child to marry. I descend from Wm Cecil COMBS and would love to find out what happened to Billy NASH. Sharon Combs Mize
