    3. Dear Gary: I am searching the Nash line without much success and I don't have any direct info that might help you. My grandfather was William Jay (or Jesse) Nash. His father was James Nash and that is where I'm stuck. The story is that James Nash ran away from his home in New York when he was quite young and never had contact with his family again. James Nash appears in Tekonsha MI in about 1885 where he married Lulu Boody March 23, 1887. After Lulu's death he remarried and on that marriage certificate he listed his father as James J. Nash from Ireland and his mother as Annie Seldon from England and said he was from Buffalo, NY. The only other clue I have came from my grandfather's brother's wife who was the only living "older" relative by the time I became interested in genealogy. She was 89 at the time and told me that James had once told her he had a brother "William" and a sister "Lauren" or "Laura" and that he was from Albany. James died March 8, 1924 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Albion, Michigan. If you should ever run into any info that might help me I sure would appreciate it. Of course, I will keep you names and look forthem as I do my research. Sandy Blackburn Mt.
