In Kildysart,Co.Clare,Ireland(also written as Killedysert), there was a NASH FAMILY. The father was RICHARD NASH, the mother was HANNAH FINN. Around 1824, they married and had , at least, five sons: RICHARD NASH, born about 1825,in Kildysart, moved to Buffalo,NY,first married Ann(or Honorah),had six children & then, married again after his wife died in 1870.His descandants married into the names of Shreenan, Rossiter, Finnegan, Higgins, Boyland, Scahall and others. THOMAS NASH, born 22 DEC 1826, in Kildysart, moved to Chicago,Illnois. He married Mary Hallivan and had at least, one descandant, Richard J.Nash. He died at the age of 102 in Chicago in the 1920's. MICHAEL NASH, born around 1828, in Kildysart, also moved to Chicago,Illnois. SIMON NASH, born June 1832, in Kildysart, moved to Buffalo,New York.He married Catherine Mahony and had children: Dr.James W.Nash,Monseignor John Nash, Simon A.Nash and Mary Nash.Dr. Nash married Elizabeth Power and had children in the Buffalo area. JOHN NASH. birthdate unknown, in Kildysart, moved to Elmira,New York. There also may have been a NASH daughter born in KILDYSART who married a BLAKE and came to the U.S. or Canada.
