    1. All Nashes
    2. Hi, I am researching the Nashes from NC (Union and Anson Co.'s). I will share all that I have. I am also seeking info on the Nash family from VA. Abner Nash's sons Thomas and John who came to Va about 1720 from England. I have heard there is a book by Alice Read called "The Reads and their relations" if anyone has this book or knows about it, I would love to look at it. It is suppose to have the Nashes going back 500 years and connecting the Irish and English Nashes together. This should help connect most of the US Nashes. I am also looking for other surnames (I guess we all are) please check out my surnames at: www.geocities.com/heartland/prairie/5258. Thanks, Kimberly Nash

    1. WILLIAM (BILLY) NASH
    2. Bakersfield Country
    3. Hi- I'm new to the list and am looking for any information on William (Billy) Nash who would have been born in the early 1800's (possibly in Russell Co). He fathered two children with Celia COMBS of Russell Co., VA, Cyndesta COMBS Crabtree b. 1827 and William Cecil COMBS b. 1829 in Russell Co. Celia later married and had several children with Isaac HART. Family tradition has it that the NASH family operated a ferry on the Clinch River. Also, again from family lore, that neither the NASH nor the COMBS family thought the other good enough for their child to marry. I descend from Wm Cecil COMBS and would love to find out what happened to Billy NASH. Sharon Combs Mize
