Henry Miar was indentured to Abraham Hestant of Bucks Co. PA 12 September 1738 for three years. Henry married Barbara (possibly Jordan) c. 1741. Henry and Barbara were in Frederick/Shenandoah Co. VA by 1755. He died 1797. She died c. 1799. At least three of their children were born in PA, probably Bucks/Lehigh/Northampton area. Children: 1. Catharina b.c. 1743 m. to John (Johannes) Parrott, son of Frederick John Parrott moved to Cocke Co. TN c. 1789 with his second wife, Lucy Bean 2. Michael b.c. 1745 3. Elizabetha b.c. 1748 m. to Henry (Henrich) Parrott, son of Frederick 4. George m. to Anna Maria(or Maria Anna) Hollar/Holler, dt. of Henry 5. Barbara m. to Jacob Hill 6. Henry, Jr. b.c. 1756 (Probably served in the Revolutionary War) 7. Johannes b. 1760 m. to Rosina Weaver, dt. of George and Mary 8.
