MYERS, HON. GEORGE T., of Portland, is closely identified with the salmon canning industry, in which he has been engaged for years. He is an active Republican, and has attended conventions and league meetings frequently. Mr. Myers was president of the Oregon World’s Fair Commission, which achieved the remarkable record of making a fine display and yet turning back a portion of its appropriation.
