At one point the couple lived in Grand Prairie (today the Sikeston-Miner area) of MO. Their son, William Myers (b. 1807 New Madrid County, MO; d. 1884 Dubuque, IA) married Susan Shannon (b. 1812 Sainte Genevieve, MO; d. 1890, Dubuque, IA).
