On one source our Edward Myers was born in VA about 1800. He married Elizabeth Griffin 1827 in Frederick County, VA. About 1828, he was in Cincinnati, OH. His first son, Stephen George was born in Cincinnati OH. Edward Myers, wife & one son were listed in the Frederick County, VA, census (going by the age & gender in the household). By 1840 the family is in Ralls County, MO where Edward Myers died per probate and land records. Probate file gave no clues to family members. There was no estate sale. By 1840 he had two more children (males). Edward & Elizabeth (Griffin) Myers took two of her younger brothers to Ralls County, MO with them. Other defendants are researchers Edward and we haven’t been able to find siblings or parents for Edward Myers. Would appreciate any and all help. The one source where he was born in VA, is suspect.
