Andrew Myers is my GGGGrandfather and I recently came across a document in PA about his service in the Revolutionery War as an "Indian Spy". He must have been at least half breed to have been a spy. I can remember my mother calling my Grandfather Andrew J Myers a "Damm Old Indian" to take his hat and go to the barn any time she was to punish any of us children. It was a family secret kept from us children that we were part Native American in WV in the fifties. Part Native American's would answer to the census takers that their parents were from some country in Europe or else they were rounded up and sent off to Oklohoma during the early 1800's.
