Myers, of Altoona, a member of Conductor Joesph Clark's crew on what is known as the Lilly coal train, was killed on Wednesday afternoon at the Lilly siding. He had made a coupling and stepped out from between the car only to be struck by an empty engine. This obit was found in the Cambria Freeman, an Ebensburg, Pennsylvania newpaper, dated January 18, 1901.
