Walter, although born in Kansas, lived in Pittsburgh. There is a Jacobite and Methodist connection with this family when the Methodists of John Westley of Savanna Georgia enlisted help from some Catholic Jacobites named Stuart on issues John Westly had with the Church of England. A well recorded story and you will find this story connected to Methodist Bishop John Heyl Vincent and his business partner Lewis Miller. Lewis Miller's daughter, Mina, married Thomas A Edison and of course Thomas Edison owned a house with Henry Ford at Fort Myers in Lee County Florida. Walter P Chrysler would know all about this if indeed he made cars. It's just the McCleary name pops up. The McClearys like the Earps were Methodist Missionaries out of Frederick MD and they moved to Kansas and later to Tombstone AZ. All these families seem to know Union General Phillips St Georges Cooke and his daughter Floria Cooke when they were in Kansas when it was bleeding. Flora married Catholic Jacobite Lt JEB Stuart. He converted to Church of England in Kansas and later became CSA General JEB Stuart. If you read about the Funeral of CSA General Jeb Stuart, Secretary of War George W Randolph was the lead Pall Bearer and many Myers families were at the Funeral. George was Thomas Jefferson's grandson and he might also be related to Secretary of War Edwin M Stanton of Pittsburgh. As you can see, it's a mess.
