This Myers family was also related to the Breckinridge family of Vice President John Cabel Breckinridge. There might even be a connection to the Norfolk and Western Railroad. Myers relatives would live all along this railroad line which includes Pittsburgh and the Pocahontas Coal Fields of Virginia/WV. List of relatives would be Ann Barraud Taylor and her father General Robert Barraud Taylor, Major John Lewis and his uncle General Andrew Lewis, Virginia Gov John Floyd and his cousin Sgt James Floyd of Lewis and Clark. Edmonia Madison Randolph who was the daughter of Virginia Gov Edmund Jenning Randolph who was the cousin of Thomas Jefferson and great uncle of George W Randolph.
