Emily born 1822 which John was much older than her, this tells me that possibly Emily was married to one of his children and they passed away or she was quite possibly his second marriage. We have absolutely no information before 1843. and we only really have the 1850 census for the family living in PA and the after that we lose James and Catherine John and Emily. no proof of them living only James for 1860 and then 1880. but nothing else. If anyone can recollect any John;s in their tree that may have disappeared from thier family or maybe his wife passed on or they divorced or has any info tying to this family please help us out, we have been searching for any info. no birth records, no baptisms, no death records.
