I have the Marriage license and it states that Gilbert Halden Myers, age 21 with an occupation as a glass worker, living in Willock, PA and my grandmother, Ruth Liberty Bartlett, 21, living in Clifton PA, married on September 14th, 1937 in the state of Maryland, Allegany County, ss. This is the only piece of history that I have. When I started my research into genealogy 13 years ago, Ruth already had Alzheimer's and Dementia. My mother, says she never knew her father. It seems as though there is an unknown that has kept this quiet for a lifetime. Hopefully, this mystery can be solved.
