One is called The Myers Hays Mordecia families by Caroline Cowan. The other which more or less covers the southern group is a book called Mordecai, An Early American Family by Emily Bingham. The biggest problem in studying this group which Emily Bingham points out is that not all of these families remain Jewish throughout history.
